About Hi Impact
Hi Impact is a non-profit helping people transform how they learn languages, while unlocking the positive impact they have on the world. It is a brand new organisation with ambition to scale.
About the internship
This internship combines strategic research and practical execution to support the growth and sustainability of Hi Impact. No prior experience is required—this is a great way to build high-value skills in strategy, grant research, and non-profit development.
Working closely with the founder, here is what you’ll focus on in your ~5 hours per week:
Research and map opportunities: Identify relevant grants, government funding schemes, private foundations, and alternative funding sources.
Build a pipeline: Keep an organized database of upcoming deadlines, requirements, and key criteria for targeted funds.
Draft applications: Help write and assemble standard grant proposals, project descriptions, and pitch decks using our core materials.
Occasional general tasks: Help with other ad-hoc operational or strategic needs as the organisation grows.
Who we're looking for
Interested in social impact, language learning, or non-profit development
Structured, methodical and independent
Strong written English communication (writing clear, persuasive text is a plus!)
Happy spending hours on emails, messages, and calls
Resourceful, self-motivated and comfortable working independently on research tasks
