About Hi Impact
Hi Impact is a non-profit helping people transform how they learn languages, while unlocking the positive impact they have on the world. It is a brand new organisation with ambition to scale.
About the internship
This internship is both strategic and hands-on, acting as an operational right hand to the founder. No prior experience is required, making this an ideal way to test out - or a springboard for - a career in project management, startup operations, non-profit management, or executive support. Working directly with the founder, here is what you’ll focus on in your ~5 hours per week:
Founder support: Take a wide range of ad-hoc administrative, research, and organizational tasks off the founder's plate.
Special projects: Explore and test new tools and initiatives, from setting up the Slack community to research speaking opportunities to experimenting with AI tools.
Systems & workflow coordination: Keep our project boards up to date, organize files, and ensure team deadlines and weekly updates are tracked smoothly.
We're building a diverse team where everyone does what they're best at. If you're only a strong fit for some of these tasks, we encourage you to apply anyway and tell us which ones!
Who we're looking for
Interested in social impact, startup operations, or non-profit strategy.
Highly structured, methodical, and reliable.
Resourceful problem solver ("high agency") who takes initiative when handed open-ended tasks.
Comfortable using (or quick to learn) digital tools like Slack, Trello or AI tools.
Fluent in English.
What you'll get
Symbolic pay: 3,200 NOK/month (160 NOK/hour)
Free language coaching through Hi Impact and sponsored Sammen om en jobb membership
The chance to make a real difference for individuals and the world
Working directly with the founder, you’ll receive mentorship, career guidance, network, and a letter of recommendation; the internship is intended to open doors and advance your career.
