About Hi Impact

Hi Impact is a non-profit helping people transform how they learn languages, while unlocking the positive impact they have on the world. It is a brand new organisation with ambition to scale.

About the internship

The role is both strategic and hands-on. No prior experience is required and this can be a way to test your fit for community building, or as a springboard into other roles. Since you'll be working independently, here's exactly what the role involves:

  • Build a recruitment strategy: Set up a recruitment strategy for participants and/or volunteers.

  • Recruit participants and/or volunteers: Put the most promising recruitment ideas into practice.

  • Follow up participants and/or volunteers: Coordinate efforts to engage participants and/or volunteers.

  • Test, evaluate and adjust different approaches: Document and evaluate the results from different approaches to recruitment and follow-up to improve the strategy.

  • Occasional other tasks may come up as the organisation grows.

We're building a diverse team where everyone does what they're best at. If you're only a strong fit for some of these tasks, we encourage you to apply regardless, and tell us which ones.

Who we're looking for

  • Interested in language learning and/or social impact

  • Structured, methodical and independent

  • Comfortable communicating in English

  • Enjoys working with people

  • Happy spending hours on emails, messages, and calls

What you'll get

  • Symbolic pay: 3,200 NOK/month (160 NOK/hour)

  • Free language coaching through Hi Impact and sponsored Sammen om en jobb membership

  • The chance to make a real difference for individuals and the world

  • Working directly with the founder, you’ll receive mentorship, career guidance, network, and a letter of recommendation; the internship is intended to open doors and advance your career.
